C# Fundamentals (tccodes)

C# is a powerful language rated as one of the top programming languages to learn. This is the first in a series of C# workshops by tccodes.

C# is a powerful language that is consistently rated as one of the top three programming languages to learn. It is also widely used by area developer teams.

Building software in C# means creating solutions on top of a .NET runtime. This course utilizes .NET Core, Microsoft’s platform for modern day, general purpose, cross-platform applications. You will also learn to use Visual Studio Code, the most popular code editor and a standard tool used in other tccodes workshops

When: This 3-week course meets 5:30 – 7 pm on the following Tuesdays: June 9, 16, and 23

Who should attend: Beginner to intermediate software developers with some prior coding experience. Contact keith@20fathoms.org with questions.

Cost: The workshop is free, but a monthly subscription to Pluralsight ($29) is required.

About Keith E. Kelly, tccodes Program Manager at 20Fathoms Keith has been making things his entire life. In his earlier years, he created solutions using electronics and software. As his teaching career matured, Keith used the same problem-solving abilities to improve educational systems and curriculum. In addition to managing tccodes at 20Fathoms, Keith is a member of the faculty at Northwestern Michigan College where he teaches Engineering Technology and Marine Technology.
