Financials and Development, an Odd Pairing (tccodes)
July 21 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm EDTFree
Taking time to consider the financial outlook for a development initiative is key to the overall success of the project. This mental exercise can offer guidance that helps you better understand your eventual clients and where those clients are willing to invest in your application. If done well, the exercise can help capture early revenues that will sustain your initiative through further rounds of development. Conversely, these models often indicate the appropriate time to kill a project for the overall health of your organization.
What to expect:
- To begin, we’ll review the financial forecast of an Emphasys new development initiative
- Within that initiative, we’ll work through four types of outcomes (Fail, Walking Wounded, Moderate Win, and Win)
- Finally, we’ll navigate practices followed at Emphasys to ensure you have a starting point for your own financial modeling efforts.
