Before starting a startup, ensure there is a viable market for your product or service based upon deep understanding of the customer needs.
Join 20Fathoms first intensive Startup Program, Starting Up a Start Up with Francis Criqui, President of Francis Criqui Associates, LLC,. This 4 session, intensive program is designed to take a budding entrepreneur (Founder of a Start-up) from initial thought or concept to validation of product market fit, i.e. ability to prove there is a viable market for the product or service envisioned.
The objective of the program is to facilitate the founder’s ability to find a paying customer through understanding the customer’s environment and will take the participant through the process of defining a problem (customer need), understanding the environment driving that need, current workarounds, and potential solutions. The program discourages spending money developing a product in favor of searching and understanding the needs of the targeted customer.
Participants will be responsible for interviewing potential clients/markets, as well as give weekly presentations. This program encourages team participation. However, each team must have a lead person, the one who will make the presentation and make key decisions. Limit to 3 people per team.
